Can Tho University Collaborates with Ghent University (Belgium) to Develop an International Master’s Academic Programme in Food Technology
On July 10, 2025, Dr. Le Van Lam – Vice Rector of Can Tho University, along with representatives from relevant units, welcomed and held a working session with Prof. Dr. Ir. Koen Dewettinck from the Faculty of Food Technology, Safety and Health, Ghent University (Belgium).
During the meeting, the two sides introduced and discussed their collaboration in developing an international Master’s academic programme in Food Technology (International MSc in Food Technology - IUPFOOD ASIA). This is a high-quality training programme initiated by Ghent University in collaboration with leading universities in the region, including Can Tho University, to cultivate highly qualified human resources in the field of food technology, supporting the sustainable development of food systems in developing countries.
